:idea: I decided that I wanted somewhere to keep my little pots of paint where their colours would show up nicely together with their codes.

Feel free to dip in here to find a fun way to pretty up your posts.

Place the open colour tag in front with the code number, and the close colour tag at the end of your piece of writing, and that's all there is to it.

Opening colour tag ---> [ COLOR=number ]
(remove spaces inside the brackets, no inverted comas needed).

Closing colour tag ---> [ /COLOR ]
(remove spaces inside the brackets).

BLUE

1. "color=#006699" I'm a happy quilty, I'm not blue one bit, so messing with these colours does not change my mood a whit...

GREEN

1. "color=#669999" This colour is green?

2. "color=#666600" This colour is maybe an olive green

3. "color=#669966" This colour green?

4. "color=#669933" This is not a bad light green maybe

5. "color=#33CC33" Or this colour green?

6. "color=#339900" This colour green works well for me

7. "color=#336633" This colour green?

8. "color=#33CC00" This colour green just scrapes past the readable test

9. "color=#009900" Looks like this - rather similar to what is already available
(This is the one already available)

10. "color=#009933" This colour green is not all bad

11. "color=#006633" Makes this colour green

12. "color=#336600" Makes this colour green

13. "color=#006600" Makes this colour green

YELLOW

OTHERS

1. "color=#990000" makes red letters that don't hurt DKC's eyes

2. "color=#CC6600" is a darker orange colour

3. "color=#0099CC" is a nice blue colour

4. "color=#3366FF" is also a nice blue colour

5. "color=#9933CC" is a nice lighter purple

6. "color=#336666" is an interesting colour

7. "color=#CC00CC" I like this colour

8. "color=#6633FF" I like this colour too

9. "color=#663333" How about this brown colour?

10. "color=#996633" Here is a lighter brown

11. "color=#FF33FF" What about pink?

12. "color=#CC0099" And a deeper pink?


OK folks, call me a nerd and a geek or simply tell me I'm nuts! :loco:
Right now I'll probably believe anything... :idea:

It's really a pretty good way to display color codes. I don't think I've ever seen it done with text but it makes sense.
