Are you having problems viewing the eBay Group photo albums? Are you using a firewall? I may have your solution. Your firewall must not block referrer info. I have posted step-by-step instructions for tweaking Norton Internet Security 2003 in the eBay tutorials section of my .net website. Its really pretty simple and, in my case, it allows me to see some wonderful beadwork photos and still have that warm and cozy feeling of sitting behind my firewall.

I posted the link to your ME page on another group. Jerry from ebay is looking for a solution.

Hi JJJ-
Well if a Pink wants to actually try to solve a problem instead of telling people to drop their firewalls I'm all for it.

Some people are also having problems viewing not only the photo albums but the actual threads as well. One member of the beads group solved that problem by playing with her firewall and browser settings.

An alternative way to set up your firewall is to set up permissions for "ebay.com" instead of "groups.ebay.com". That will solve many of the other problems that people have using the eBay site with a firewall. If you have problems securely logging in to "my eBay" etc. (like I did) then you should probably set permissions for the whole eBay site.

And JJJ, we can't see your nice avatar and your website link when you don't sign in to post. You're always welcome here.

Since quite a few people have inquired about firewall instructions for versions of Norton IS besides 2003, I finally updated the firewall tutorial today to include 2004 and 2003 and earlier versions.

Hi Soul,

I had several in BBMB ask about 2004 Norton and naturally sent them to YOU!

Thank you so very much.. I hope someone will post in that group too.

You are so good to us!

JJJ
