i have a forum (IPB 1.3, is not 1.3.1 final )

I was thinking about phpNuke and some addons\individual parts, i just got phpNuke 7.6 PLATINUM.

I think MKPortal has everything you are looking for in one package. MKPortal adds the homepage, the blocks, and many modules such as TopSite, Downloads, Gallery, News, Blogs etc. I do not use all of the MKPortal modules on this site. I also use a lot of IPB hacks and I have hacked the forum and Portal heavily myself.

My shoutbox is the D-Shoutbox.

I hacked my Portal to include it globally. But MKPortal has a shoutbox included.

I included the subforums manually in the forum description. IPB 2 includes them automatically.

There are many portals and addon modules for IPB 1.3 besides MKPortal. Look on invisionize.com. But MKPortal has them all in one install.

But i don't have problems at school ... I know a lot of things, i work a lot on my computer, don't play to much, right now i am learning 3d studio max 7 because we are working on a game (or 2), because we have to aquire some experiente for developing a mmorpg game, that's why i have to set up a little bit more my site and my forum
btw soul... i have a Journal module in my phpnuke platinum .. i think is the same thing as a blog ... but i have a major problem ... nuke uses a phpBB forum integrated .. and i am allready using an IPB forum. .. i have to connect these 2 ...or maybe i'llset up my flash site i was working on .. it's something more artistic with animations, and i'll make there some butons ..
Visiblesoul, could you help me to make on my forum , like gallery and download page , games (arcade) .. and to display them above the banner ?

I've got a son your age, and I wish he had no problems at school - but he plays all the time with his x-box instead.

Hey soul ... i want to modify my forum, how do you make those buttons above the banner?

Edit: i've found those when trying to install the arcade on my forum:

i uploaded ibProArcade v2.5 on my ftp, for 1.3 IPB , but the instruction don't seem realistic... how do i install the arcade?


Edit: I think i got it.... I think <_<
Edit #2: did everything right but i get this error on my forum.

Make sure that you run the arcade install script. It looks like the arcade database tables have not been installed on your site.

Just type this url in your browser and run the install script. Be sure to delete the installer.php after you run it.

Aha! I do have a 17 year old son, but I am his mother, not his father.
I'm the one who thinks he is special and wonderful even when he plays too much with his x-box.
