i use SMF 1.1 RC2
It works fine with MKPortal 1.1 RC1, when also my favorit is IPB.
It would be great when you can code one. I have look also on the german support, but there i can't find and also there nobody want to help.
You are really the one and only!
Thanks and cheers
P.S.:
Your hack for the Subcategories Reviews works fantastic, thanks one more time for this great Job.

Where is your IPB? Why you don't take it? And why you have changed it with a PunBB?

I use SMF and MKPortal on my other site here...
http://www.visiblesoul.org/
I am playing with punBB on this web design site. It is very nice and light. But I think I will play with MyBB also.
It is not very difficult for me to convert boards from one to another so I experiment alot.

It should work with MKPortal 1.0 and 1.1Rc1. It should work with SMF 1.x. I tested it with MKPortal 1.0 x SMF 1.0.2 since that is the version I have installed on localhost (I know I need to upgrade). Please let me know if it works for you.
The block is different from the IPB version. It is not easy to get last post and last poster information from the SMF database. I just don't have the patience to figure it out right now and I have a lot of other work to do. But it is a nice block anyway. I hope you all like it.
Maybe in the future when I have more time and patience I will try again to add the last poster etc.

I don't understand what you are asking. Do you mean you want a last posts block that does not show duplicate topics but topics will be bumped in the block when there is a new post?

$sql = "
SELECT
m.posterTime, m.subject, m.ID_TOPIC, m.ID_MEMBER, m.ID_MSG,
IFNULL(mem.realName, m.posterName) AS posterName,
t.ID_BOARD, t.ID_LAST_MSG, t.numReplies, t.numViews,
b.name AS bName,
m.body, m.smileysEnabled
FROM {$db_prefix}messages AS m, {$db_prefix}topics AS t, {$db_prefix}boards AS b
LEFT JOIN {$db_prefix}members AS mem ON (mem.ID_MEMBER = m.ID_MEMBER)
WHERE t.ID_TOPIC = m.ID_TOPIC
AND m.ID_MSG >= " . max(0, $modSettings['maxMsgID'] - 20 * $limit) . "
AND b.ID_BOARD = t.ID_BOARD" . (!empty($modSettings['recycle_enable']) && $modSettings['recycle_board'] > 0 ? "
AND b.ID_BOARD != $modSettings[recycle_board]" : '') . "
AND $user_info[query_see_board]
GROUP BY m.ID_TOPIC
ORDER BY t.ID_LAST_MSG DESC
LIMIT $limit";
This is not a perfect solution but it will order the topics by last post date. I know that MKPortal needs a good SMF last posts block. I do not understand SMF very well though so it is hard for me. If I can figure it out in the future I will make a better block.-=DKC=-

There are some problem in some Topics, That's really strange.
In some Topics, They report wrong "Topic Starter". And some Topics still have "Re:" in front of them but at Topic Starter (Look in the Forum) have not.
But who cares ... Getting this Block is the best present for my website although there are few problems. Thanks again.
